Phoenicia Specialty Foods's Yogurt made in house

The Phoenicia market is one of my favorite specialty foods stores in Houston, hands down.

They make their own yogurt apparently. I've had them in the past, and they are very good. The consistency is somewhat medium level creaminess, not as creamy as a Noosa, maybe more akin to Brown Cow, and there are small seeds of the fruit in there.

This particular flavor was surprisingly kind of sour. It's not super sweet, which I like, but I was a bit curious as to why there was a slight hint of vinegar (sort of like a kefir).

Anyway, if you're into yogurt and like the novelty factor -- be sure to check this one out! Comes in other flavors as well, like strawberry.
